Great cat flap
We had one before and had it fitted into a double glazed panel. This was easy to fit ourselves into a wooden panel beside the door. We didn’t realise the thickness of the panel though which had a gap between so my husband used pieces of wood to fill the gap. The cat flap fits and works perfectly. Just need the cat to start using it now.

We have a thin UPVC door panel so I didn't think we'd need the extender, turns out I should have got one. As it has a magnet to keep it shut it makes the flap more difficult to push open and our 6 month old kitten doesn't want to push it open. I'm sure she will in time.
