Ideal budget world globe, but you need good lungs

Like the bright colours and easy to read lettering. However the only problem was the difficulty in blowing up the globe. It took ages. Suggest mechanical air inflater should be used.

  • Most critical review

    It's a joke

Simply terrible - try another brand. I blew it up to full capacity and the shape is totally wonky. There is puckering all the way along the seams too. I had an inflatable globe beach ball when I was young and wanted one for my classroom for filler games as I'm now a teacher. Doesn't make the grade and I won't be using it. How difficult is it to manufacture a round shape?!

  • You get what you pay for

I bought the globe as an educational toy for my son. Its worth the price, dont get me wrong. However couple of points... 1. Its not really round, a bit oval shaped when fully blown. 2. Not really 40 CM, but 30 CM 3. The seams/ folds actually cover some islands and names. China is spelt as "hina", Srilanka as "Sri" etc 4. Most importantly, the one that I got has the names already faded and difficult to read at places. If you are happy with the above, buy it. Its cheap anyways and your kids wont bother.

  • Slight problem with stopper. Good fun

This ball is a lovely size and great fun. When inflated the stopper kept popping out, but easily solved by cutting the piece of plastic that attaches the stopper to the ball.

  • You pay for what you get

Not fully round, has a slight oval shape. Some of the joins disrupt some of the writing (as expected). Overall happy with the purchase and the little one likes it for play and quick reference.

  • good value for the price. would recommend to others

stays pumped up which I was surprised about .will get larger one as its difficult to read with my eyesight .would be ok for someone younger.

  • Simple kids fun+ learning ball

It's what you can get for the price. It looks strong but is not very durable and map is not very precise due to the folds along the shape. The only thing putting me off is the awful plastic smell. Otherwise it is okay

  • Inflatable Globe

The price for the globe was pretty good which i also bought with a more typical published Atlas for my nieces. The globe itself is about the size of a football and needs inflating which i used a needle end point with inflator. Overall, it is colourful, lightweight and has a complete world atlas printed upon it with timezones and compass. Its suitable for children who need some mass on countries or those who start asking lots of questions about where their homeland is with regards to the position of other countries, places and cities.

  • Inexpensive and quite detailed

An inexpensive buy and will do me for what I bought it for...just having it on my lap looking at where all the different countries are. I have a table globe but I can flick this about without doing any damage.
