horrendous fumes
opened this product to varnish 2 fishing floats the tin was only open for 2 minutes,the fumes filled the conservatory and the rest of the house.put everything in the garage out of the way,the smell was enough to make you feel sick,wont be using it again.used a lot of varnishes in the past and you expect some smell but this was really bad.ive had to open all windows and doors before i dare let my grandaughter come near.proper health risk dont buy itVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

If you think you can paint with sticky syrup then this is for you. Nice kick of fumes even though I painted the item outside and the lid took a full five minutes for me to prise off! Excellent Finish For Your Projects
I have bought this varnish on several occasions and find it gives a perfect finish for both larger and small projects, for artwork and practical household items. This varnish is easy to use and does not take too long to dry. When fully dry it leaves a smooth and strong surface plus it really is waterproof for outdoor use. I have recently used it to varnish an old garden seat, to give a ceramic-like finish to a plastic flowerpot that had been painted with acrylic paint in white and blue, and also to give a realistic shine to two stone frogs I had painted.

quality comes at a price
Cons - strong smelling Plus - Fabulous finish. The best way to use this is in a spacious environment , or outdoor hut etc. Ive used many varnishes but this is by far the best one. You tend to find the other kinds are more water based and with come with little to no odor and are so light on the brush that many coats are required, but not with this.
