A life saver for tortoise and rabbits
I have kept a tortoise alive when he just refused to eat. I had kept him warm but worms had weakened him without my knowledge. I mixed to a consistency that would flow through a syringe, opened his mouth with a flat ended stick and fed small mouthfuls at a time. Putting him down to swallow as he walked. He enjoyed the taste and started to eat it of dandilion leaves. I have also kept rabbits alive by the same method. Don't forget rabbits need to eat little and often or their gut stops working.
