Fantastic gateway game
Bought a copy of this for both our 7 and 10 year old to play. I had a solo playthrough first to learn the rules before teaching it to them and I've gotta say, it's fantastic!!! Easy to learn, quick to play and the tension really ramps up as the game goes on. In case you don't know, this is a co-op game (playing against the game not each other) that can be played with 1 to 4 players. Yes, thats right, 1 player can play this alone, which is exactly what our boys have been doing once they learned the rules. Just pick two characters and get stuck in. And they've both been loving it.... So much so, I've had to buy a second copy to stop them arguing over it. It is an amazing game that teaches you to think on the spot when working together on a limited time mission. It is incredibly fun but definitely challenging. Originally bought as a game to play with adults but my 7 year old can manage this too. There is plenty of variety in set up meaning the game differs each time, depending of number of players and the starting level you school. An excellent game, easy to learn and with infinite amounts of board layouts and random card turns, no two games will ever be alike. Not easy to win, but the win/lose ratio is just right to ensure you come back and try again. Great for 2 players, each game lasting about 30 minutes and even better played with 4.
