Standards maintained.
Had wondered after John Nettles relinquished the role of Tom Barnaby if the series standard might drop, being pleased to note it hasn't, especially so after the new Barnaby lost his Welsh sidekick DS Jones who had initially helped maintain that continuity. Whilst all series run out of steam eventually it's pleasing that thus far this has bucked that trend.
