Never gets old!
A movie made well before it's time and one of Harrison Ford's best roles. Blade Runner is a movie that bombed at the Box Office but ended up becoming one of the most famous movies with a cult following. The 4K Blu Ray is amazing. Picture is the best ever and if you have an audio output with Dolby Atmos, it is well worth it! Not worth a 4k release
Not really worth the extra for 4k over blu ray. Read some reviews which said it looked fantastic in 4K. It is a very dark movie,most of the scenes nighttime and raining. Lots of grain,better than the dvd. Disappointed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

An example of how to apply 4k to older titles
4K UHD can be applied with great effect to older movies originally shot on film, the resolution, colour and detail are there if properly scanned and the HDR treatment is done properly. Bladerunner is a great example of what you can do, if you take the care to do it properly. Sure there is some grain inherent in the source material and yes some scenes are dark and murky and blurry with rain and mist but that's how they're supposed to be, however the colours are bright and vivid, the detail is much improved, the opening scenes are stunning. This is a great example of a 4K/UHD treatment of an older movie, shame about the price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
