Unexpected
This movie got an undeserved rotten tomato rating, but really has great acting and good production. On the surface this seems like a crime/action movie, but so much more is going on with the characters. It is about the consequences of doing drugs. And it is not pretty. Basically it is a story about a dysfunctional Jewish family (in Brooklyn I think). The film's flaw is that it should have been more prominently told to understand why three sons began doing drugs. The drug scenes are intense, but necessary to show the reality. The character of Lester could be either cut back or eliminated, particularly with his sex scene. Ted Levine gives another outstanding performance. View this film with an open mind and more than once to see all the nuances.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
