    Sealed drill safety guard

    These drill guards have strong springs to keep the guard up out of the way while putting in a drill bit. The springs hook into a plastic moulding. This is easy to break with rough handling. The Sealey one seems stronger than the original in this respect, time will tell. This one is to fit a 55mm boss above the chuck. I didn’t realise the range of sizes that are available. It is fitted on the drill press now and looks good, and of course gives eye protection when drilling. I hope it lasts a good while.

    This is a great drill press guard. Fits a treat. I like the way the guard can be retracted out of the way. It is held firmly by a spring which makes it secure when folded back. A great drill press guard.
