Perfectly capable carpet spot remover

Excellent machine, let down only by the instruction book
Excellent machine, let down only by the instruction book. OK, it's all obvious after 5 mins but here's a starter: 1) The water container needs water at 60 degrees (max) and detergent - not necessarily to the fill line. A sensible detergent bottle would have some form of measuring dispenser (even just a cap the right size), this one hasn't. The plastic tube in the container needs air not water, so don't worry that it's not submerged - it shouldn't be! 2) Use the little head for most cleaning, the bigger one with the water tank for mopping up spills. Pull the trigger to squirt the water/detergent mix while brushing, tilt forward slightly and don't squeeze for removing as much water as possible afterwards 3) marvel at the amount of brown liquid it brings out of a carpet that you'd already tried to clean several times by hand. 4) Clean well afterwards. That's about it. Excellent sturdy long power lead, and all the bits clip together really well. It would have taken the Bissell intern a few minutes to write the above, instead they got the Head of Pictorial Instructions from International Pictorials to spend weeks on it. Amazing performance for the price
I bought a refurbished model, that is brand new as far as I can see. It is a very good product, I used it today to clean the edges of a shaggy yellow rug that were nearly black. I used a drill brush to agitate the cleaner first and to be honest the rug came up nearly as good as new on the first go. I probably could go over it again to make it perfect, but no doubt will need cleaning again in a few months. I used it on stair carpet with short pile and it was amazing, every birt of dirt was gone. A must for cat owners with carpets & horse owners car seats!
This has been really good at getting out marks from our cream wool carpets. Incl. old stains that wouldn’t come out with spray cleaner and scrubbing. Leaves the carpet much drier than I thought a spot cleaner would. The car seats and door cards came up spotless. Part of me wants to just spill stuff for fun so I can use it all the time. Great little machine
I bought this as I previously had a machine from a competitor which didn’t suck up anything. Well what a difference. This machine has a good size water tank and a very powerful suction. I am very impressed. I managed to do the whole of my stairs without needing to refill the water chamber. The stairs now look amazing and the dirt which came out was horrifying! A little star, much brighter than expected.
Within 24 hours of it arriving it had to be unpacked in a hurry as my son spilt a litre of Iced Coffee all over the off white lounge carpet. Not happy but had the right tool for the right job. Very impressed with it, not so my son who should have known better. It's only down side (if I had to give one) it is a little loud BUT it does exactly what it says on the tin & that's a rare treat in these times.
