    Good strong barrel

    Wasn’t sure what to expect been a long time since I have seen a wooden whisky barrel! Very happy with barrel seems very solid has a nice smell after the rain. I did measure but it looks much bigger than I remembered. Looks great in my garden. Delivery was a couple of days later than expected came very early in the morning the delivery people were very quiet to be fair.

    Ordered full size 40gallon recycled wood barrel for garden project yesterday 21/5 turned up today 22/5 less than 24hrs great condition minimal work to do to have it looking pristine just need to strip a bit of paint from one end a quick sand down and wood stain it. 5 star service well impressed.

    Nice table option

    The product is great, will need some work to rub back all the rust and one end the lid is warped so can't be used as a table. Hopefully the other side is better or I may put a piece of glass over it. Well worth the money though. Its definitely a DIY piece so lots if elbow grease read to get it looking good

    Very rusty but cleans up well

    Delivery was prompt and on schedule. Barrel was pretty rusty and looked worse than I was expecting on arrival but it was very solid and no damage. As I wanted to use it for a garden table, I spent a bit of time cleaning it up, sanding it, staining it and giving the hoops a coat of hammerite and it now looks great. Really pleased with the finished product and good value compared to others I'd seen. If you want it for planters it would be fine, but as garden furniture I'd say be prepared for a bit of elbow grease.

    These are beautiful objects

    These are beautiful objects. If I'd seen them earlier I would have found a way to incorporate them into more spaces in the home and garden. These are well crafted quality barrels which actually had 3 bottles worth of whisky still inside! We made them into large planters for our tree ferns. They look amazing.

    Looks good cleaned up, bringing out the quality.

    The barrel arrived very quickly and the price is good compared to some other sites that wanted double the price. It needed a bit of a good clean and some work on the metal, but a good clean on the wood and then teak oiled up and a sanding down on the metal and painted it all came up nicely. The barrel had no splits in the wood and breaks in the metal. Just needed a bit of TLC. Photo's are when it arrived and after TLC.
