Versatile Chime/Siren for SmartThings
These sirens/chimes do work well with SmartThings. I like them so much I bought 2 of them. The first thing you need to know is Wink has been rebranded and is now Dome. A new Device Handler is needed to get full functionally. The Dome website has detailed instructions. (Ebay doesn’t allow links in reviews. Search the Domeha dot com website for “siren SmartThings”) If you try to add the Wink siren/chime without installing the Device handler, it will install as a generic switch. This will work, but there is no choice of chime or siren tone, and no volume control option. The only bad thing is the factory batteries were nearly dead in both devices I purchased. Battery Operation is worthless
This has the same molding and format of another version sold by another company that does have an older USB port. The issue is the batteries in this one battery only go down 10% in a week and a half. And it holds 2123 batteries that you technically would be replacing almost monthly. Have not found an effective battery powered external siren that works on Z wave or Zigby or Wi-Fi.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great little siren
I have been looking for an inexpensive siren that works with Hubitat and is louder than a doorbell (I'm taking to you Iris Utilitech) for a while now. This siren fits that bill. It's loud enough to get someone's attention and has the bonus of other sounds (at lower volumes) to let you know if something else needs your attention, window open, grandkids out of bed, etc. Installation was a breeze. I put the Hubitat Hub into pairing mode and it found the siren and assigned the correct driver (it's a Dome siren) without any intervention on my part. The batteries registered at 67% instead of 100% but for the price of this thing, I was surprised it even came with batteries. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Load little siren
Works well, if you have Wick. I could not get Smartthings to recognize it, but I have Wink so that is not an issue. It is very small, so easy to put anywhere. It is also very load, so it will serve the purpose. It has 10 built in siren sounds.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Leaky Batteries
One of the batteries had leaked all over the battery compartment and the outside of the case. Additionally it isn’t completely compatible with SmartThings as was indicated in the description. The wink hub is required for full functionality. This was not mentioned.
