Have owned various other Milwaukee power tools over the past 5 or 6 years and to be honest I find this brand to be superior to the likes of Bosch,Dewalt etc.. Or did!!
But having just spent virtually £800 on this cutoff saw I feel totally disappointed and basically ripped off.
Milwaukee advertise these cutoff saws as being a better alternative to petrol saws. NO WAY!!!!
These battery operated saws don’t come anywhere near the performance of a Stihl petrol cutoff saw.
The 12.ah batteries you need are around a ridiculous £180 each and when fully charged which takes an hour to achieve will if your lucky cut 4 or 5 x 20mm thick Sandstone paving slabs.
I’ve got 2 of these so called heavy duty batteries but could really do with 4 or five to get me through my working day. With at least 3 or 4 constantly on charge as they just can’t cope with the energy these saws take to cut a thin slab.
The Milwaukee saw also often cuts out due to an overload feature on a very regular basis which is so annoying if your trying to carry your daily tasks.
As a tradesman I would definitely’Not’ recommend these saws to anyone at all.
If anyone tells you any different please learn the hard way and waste £800 like I did.
Couldn’t even give this saw a rating of 1 out of 10 but it doesn’t allow me to give a zero rating so one it is then.
Just so so disappointing and a complete waste of my £800……👎
Could have purchased a brand new Stihl TS410 for less😩😩😩😩😩😩😩
Very happy with this cut of saw great for in door work and no more fumes it start instanly which is good . Battary last as long as you power it with the 12.0 battery.
