M5 Shifter
Well its not a lot for what you get, but it does revamp the cabin. And its superb quality, the leather is lovely and supple. My original one had seen better days, the illuminated top was scratched and de-laminating from the numbers . Make sure you buy the wright one because i bought the later model E39 and they changed the plug which connects to the power !, so i had to either send it back or cut and splice the plug back on (wire are same colours) i own a 2001 but under the bonnet it say built Dec 00 wether that had something to do with i don't know One tip to keep it as good as new, don't ware any rings on the shifter hand cause you can scratch it easily ..........Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The Recommended replacement .
BMW have discontinued the titan line gear knob. This all leather gear knob is the recommended replacement. Everything about it is good, with one exception. BMW seems to have changed the plug half way through production. Thus with the original item no longer available whilst the new one will fit , the wiring connector is NOT the same. This in itself is not an issue but you will have to cut off and splice your old plug onto your new gear stick to be able to make it removable as per the original. Not a major issue, not difficult to do , but you need to be aware of it. Because of that and the fact BMW don't do the titan line any more I can only give it 4 out of 5 stars.
