Easy to use and produce excellent wine.
Easy to follow instructions which will produce great wine in around a week. I also make the White Zinfandel ( Rose wine) kit from Winebuddy which is also easy to make. The only drawback with the Chardonnay kit is that the initial fermentation can be very vigorous and at times is prone to frothing over. Therefore be careful where you place the fermentation vessel. I place it on the draining board in the utility room where the excess froth is less likely to make a mess !!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

LOVELY CLEAR WINE

easy to make
works out at about £1.00 per bottle. great taste. use less water make a stronger drink. only takes seven days but leave it for a month or so for a more rounder taste. instead of using bottles use a fermenting barrel with a tap on it so that you can decant the wine into a couple of bottles to put in the fridge.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very comprehensive white wine kit.
The kit has everything needed for the brew and clarification, just add water and follow very clear step by step instructions. The chardonnay grape does not taste like chardonnay wine that gets its taste frommaturing in oak barrels, there are a few oak chips in the kit, but I did not find they contributed anything to the flavour. I was using the kit to dilute the flavour and add body to a summer fruit wine and for this was extremely successful. I will be using again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Making it again
This is our second time of ordering this wine. Last time was our first attempt at homebrewing and we were very pleased with the finished product. It wasn't difficult and I'm sure we made mistakes but it was still very enjoyable which proves beginners can do it! We are learning as we go on, but that's the fun. We made it last July time and drank it at Christmas. In fact we found a bottle at the back of the cupboard last week (July) and it was still fine. It was clear and tasty. The wine was ok,easy to make,it took a couple of days longer to ferment out than stated and if you drink it straight away it lacks a lot of taste but if you wait a few weeks it's better,I added an extra 200 grams of sugar at the start and ended up being around the 12 to 13 percent alcohol,I will be ordering again but may add some concentrated grape juice to give more body.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
