The steamer is easy to use and compact, ideal for smaller families and kitchens. It's completely safe too and won't ever burn dry. The rice bowl is also an added bonus. I liked the size of this steamer. My previous one was too big. It is recommended to put 1 pint of water into the steamer. In my opinion, 3/4 of a pint is better since I found the water is rising up and actually boiling the vegetables in the lowest level and water is dripping down the sides. Steamer Review
Does everything it's meant to do very well. No un-needed buttons or functions etc you just switch it on, turn the timer dial and leave it to cook. Doesn't give off a lot of steam so your kitchen doesn't develop mould which I've had happen with other steamers. Easy to clean. The plug wire is just long enough for me and not too long. It doesn't take up too much work top space as it has a small footprint. The only downsides I can think of are that the plastic is strong but also flimsy when really hot (you'll see what I mean if you buy one), and for some reason there is a colour change or stain inside the section where you put the water once you use it for the first time which you literally can't do anything about.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
