Does what it claims
Is easy to apply. Comes with two needles so you can try each one see if it gets to the spot you need. Remember to keep your hand steady to make sure you apply the product right into the aiptasia. You don't need a lot so don't draw up too much into the syringe. If you miss, apply again next day. It is very effective but of course you can only treat the aiptasia you can see. Doesn't seem to affect the tank adversely even though the clown fish tried to eat it. She's none the worse for the experience. Just make sure you keep treating to stay on top of the little blighters. Didnt kill many of mine... 😓
Used around 20ml of this to zap x7 pretty decent sized aptasia... bout 1.5inch tall 10p sized head.... yes i covered them... yes they retracted an dissolved that tenticle head. X5 days later same ones are back in same spot and about half size of what they were. Beware it probably only kills freshley spawned or tiny ones but i have attached pics of what it wanted do! (Pic 3 shows bung thats 50p size to comparison of pest) (pic one shows how x5 days ago the head is mangled but growning back after one doseage shot)

Best Tried So Far
I was recommended AptasiaX by another user. Brought a bottle tried it and it did the job. Like all of us, once I had used the bottle I thought that I could either find a cheaper brand or some thing else to do the job. Not so, tried a few other treatments available on the net or lfs and they were not so thorough. I also tried Kalkwasser with ro water another friends suggestion. Worked for a while then up popped the Aptasia's little heads again, plus I had white blobs of it on my rocks. Great product
This is a must for tanks with Aiptasia, easy to use and works brilliantly. Just squirt a little into the centre of each one at water change when pumps are off. It is 100% coral safe.

it kills them but they spread too fast
Tried this product and it kills them, but they spread so fast it is impossible to get them all especially the small ones - gave up and got a Copperband Butterfly fish instead which sorted the problem at the cost of my tube worms which got eaten too.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Something you can't really do without.
Brilliant stuff. Does what it says on the label. Instructions for use, well thought out Comes with a handy little syringe for providing accurate application. Doesn't seem to have a detrimental effect on the other inhabitants of my reef tank.A tad bit on the expensive side ? 60 ml roundabout £17 ? But it is a very specialised product. Worth the money. Only a temporary fix.
