Exceeded all expectations.
Very impressed. Using it connected to a radial arm saw. The power takeoff works very well and there is good suction. The unit is surprisingly quiet, and certainly much quieter than a previous similar unit of a different brand. I am not using the paper bags in the drum, but instead cut them to provide 2 smaller open ended bags, one of which I fit over the filter cartridge as a pre filter, like the system used in some other dust collectors shown on YouTube videos. This protects the filter cartridge and it's easy to shake or tap the dust off the paper, so it falls into the drum. When the paper gets too dusty just change the paper bag for a clean one. This method extends the life of the main filter cartridge with no less suction than using the paper collecting bags inside the drum.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good value for the price
Robust and worked well as a wet vac, powerful enough for most jobs I think. There is an issue with the instructions in terms of filter combinations to use with wet or dry vacuuming - there aren't any which is difficult if you've never used a wet/dry vac before. You have to guess which you should be using, I googled a different make of wet/dry vac and copied their instructions. A premium vacuum cleaner.
Spent a lot of time comparing what was available in the market and decided this was the best spec for the money. I have now used it for my latest project and i can now sand in the house without having dust from one end to the other. It manages the sander and plane perfectly, the only power tool not so good was the circular saw, which still manages to throw a fair amount of sawdust around. Plenty of suction for any DIY job and the dust bag has a very large capacity. Like another reviewer, i will continue to use the replaceable bags to extend the life of the large cartridge filter. A quiet but powerful machine. Built in castors, multiple places to store tools and extension tubes etc. No need to use bags although I have chosen to do so to preserve the life of the large replaceable filter. I see that one can purchase a washable filter which would be the best option. So, very pleased with the suction - check out the power and flow rates as this has the highest in this price range. i was not sure about buying this but it came with such good reviews, well i have no regrets the build quality is very good, i used it in my workshop on sawdust and shavings it was very impressive i then changed filter to the wet one and emptied a 12" deep soak away drain that was full of silt and gunge the suction was unbelievable so powerful. the reliability i can not comment as its early days but at the moment i have no fears on that score, the only improvement i can think of is for a drain off pipe with on / off tap even if it was an accessory but not the end of the world so i will give 5 stars great product vacmaster and next day deivery.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent machine
This vac is excellent the only throw back is the cord it’s really needs a wind up motion on the vac as it’s to bulky so it needs a wind up so it can be put away quickly instead of looping the cord around 2 plastic hooks that don’t seem to hold the cord any way so that’s all that’s wrong with this machine if you do decide to do that then send me out one so I can do a review on it for you other than that it’s a great machine thanksVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
