Buy it, you'll never look back, worth every penny. Keeps flies out
I've used loads of different fly screens over the years, none have lasted long or been very effective. I decided to bite the bullet and try a Vermatik screen as they have excellent reviews. It was a lot more than I wanted to pay but the bluebottles that enter my house constantly drive me insane so it was this or lose the plot. I was a bit wary, could it really be the answer? Well, it is easy to put up, much easier than previous ones, it's not very heavy (but plenty heavy enough) the chains hang nicely, the dogs find it easy to use, it is very, very quiet, and - tadaaaa.... it keeps the flies out! I have had the odd one since I put it up but I'd say it's a 90% reduction. It's very good quality, I can't see me having to buy another for many, many years, so it is actually well worth the price. Great Product
I bought two of these to go on my conservatory doors. I was a bit apprehensive as they had to go inside the conservatory rather than outside and we had to fit them to the PVC. I have trimmed them by using a hacksaw and adjusted the length as well and I have to say since they have been fitted, no flies or bees now. Worth the cost
After having a mesh fly screen at my back door for the last couple of years, decided I want something easier to hang and take down at the end of summer. This screen couldn't be easier. Easy to fit and keeps out flying insects but not the light.
Great price,good quality and easy to fit. Just need a masonary drill for two holes and screw brackets into wall. Curtain lifts onto brackets. a good product, easy to fix and probably the right balance between being not too light and insubstantial and not too heavy to fix. There are not a lot of flies about yet as it is still a bit cold but I am fairly confident that this will reduce what can be a real problem in our conservatory. Fresh air in, flies stay out.
