For the price I didn't expect much from this product, but I was definitely pleasantly surprised at both it's quality, and support. I thought I'd try it for my recently diagnosed thumb & thumb base joint arthritis. It's a good, durable neoprene material quality, which is a nice & soft, along with being really flexible. I had to look back at the listing details to find out how to put it on, but once checked it's easy to remember. The support offers a warm & comfortable fit, and being adjustable it's great! Chaffs on wrist. Too small.
This seemed to be too small or not enough padding on the wrist as it dug into me so I don’t suppose I can use it unless I pad it myself and it’s not worth sending back as the postage is too expensive. This thumb support is such good quality, has metal supports as well as Velcro fastening, and does exactly what I wanted it to. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, and on top of the mountain of other problems I have, my thumb is now dislocating. This support/brace actually stops my thumb from dislocating and is easy to use and comfortable to wear. It really supports my arthritic thumb, and helps me to avoid some of the most painful movements. I didn't give it 5 stars because the metal slide in splint tends to slide out by itself as I move my hand, so I had to put tape on to keep it in. Does exactly what it was purchased to do
Bought this for the wife who has poor thumb mobility in her right hand. It's been extremely beneficial to her. It's comfortable for long periods, is pretty much infinitely adjustable for thumb and wrist, is very stiff so holds the joint securely, and seems very well made.
