excellent, does exactly what it claims
Fantastic product , used on the underside of my daughters car which was beginning to get rusty in places, wire brushed any loose flaking areas and applied two coats of this by small spray gun allowing twenty four hours between coats, first coat turned a nice solid black so not sure if i needed the second coat, but as the car was up on stands I thought it worthwhile for the extra peace of mind. my intention is to now overcoat with a waxoyl type coating and hopefully the car will be protected for the foreseeable future. BRILLIANT STUFF!!! Iv always sworn by Jenolite but lately found it as infective as it used to be, like most things these days! I live on the Coast and drive a rusty 30yr old LDV but after dose of this on the prone areas to rot n drop it's now rust free and worthy of a full respray! I'll also be treating all my iron fencing too as I'm pretty confident it will do the job for a fair few years? 👎👎👎 12 month on and the rust is back with a Vengeance! Excellent product - effective, economical and user friendly
This product is fantastic. Easy to apply and goes a long way so very economical. I have used it for the first time on a badly rust pitted old farm trailer and the results have been superb. A quick wire brushing to remove the loose debris and a bit of work to get any black oxide scale off, then two coats of the product and BOOM - all ready to paint with minimum effort. I'm old and not easily impressed but this stuff is great, it starts working as soon as it touches the surface and very rapidly converts rust into a hard, durable and none corroding surface. I've used other older products before, usually based on phosphoric acid, and they are unpleasant and hazardous to use. This stuff beats them hand down. Good rust converter even on wet rust.
Used about 1/4 of of 1L bottle to coat metal bumper 4 16 inch steal wheel rims towing bracket, ball and two coats on a pair of anti roll bar. Try not to take off too much rust, just the flaky bits.
