Simple and effective
I got these bike hooks to save space in my shed, the screws that came with them were more than adequate for supporting the weight of the bike. The hook has a rubber cover over it to protect the wheel rim. The overall finish is matte black. The hook itself is welded in place so will only mount on the wall one way but doesn't really effect the way the hook is used. Great value for money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Waste of money
If you just want your bike as a wall hanging ornament then they’re fine but getting your bike on and off is not exactly easy. Tried 3 different bikes with various wheel sizes. Tried having the hook up high enough to take the full weight, with the floppy hook you need 2 pairs of hands. Tried the hook lower down so the weight was on the back wheel and the bike just flops over. Pointless and waste of money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Bike hanger review
Hangers themselves good quality and do exactly what is required. The screws provided are of poor quality and degrade quickly if they hit the slightest resistance - I would suggest using your own. That said, the overall value for money for 4 hangers is excellent.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Simple and effective idea. Excellent value for a solid product.
Works exactly as described. Bikes hang on the hook, the plate and side bar keep the wheel in line and protect the wall. They appear well made from good thick metal (steel?). The metal is completely coated so should not rust readily - though not tested in use outside. They come with a set of wall plugs and meaty screws. I was lucky enough to be able to put the screws directly into the studding of my internal wall which provided a very firm fitting for each plate. Excellent value for the set of four. Knocked one star off because it could be tricky to load the bike. The hook has to be held out while lifting the bike into place. I was able to put a nail in just the right place in my wall to hold the hook away from the wall to make the loading straight forward. Some blu tack in the "arm pit" might work as well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Solid brackets. Great value. Have lined my bikes on the wall nicely. Would be easier to put bike on if hook stayed out at an angle.
These are solid metal hooks. I have mounted my four staggered to reduce width required for four bikes. If the hook doesn't stay at an angle it is quite hard to hang bike so I have wedges a raw plug behind one which keeps the hook ready for the wheel so less hands needed. I got 8 of these . Rather than put 32holes in the garage wall I mounted a plank with three masonry self tapping bolts and screwed the bike-mounts to that, about 12inches apart . You might be able to crowd the bikes in closer but I think it would be hard to get them in and out if you did; you need to be able to swing the bike slightly to the left as you dismount it.
