Wanted it to work well... It simply doesn't.
I barely care what my hair looks like! The answer (for years now) has been home trimmers and a crew cut. I thought this product would streamline the process, especially now that I'm embracing the baldness. I have had great success with lots of other branded-clippers. I will need to reinvest in one of those brands to tidy up what the super crew cut does... The clippers in this box are too small and weak to cut the hair that the main trimmer misses (which is a lot) the main trimmer cannot go around ears or cut the hairs at the nape of your neck. It can cut at 1-4, GREAT! Except - no it can't. It can cut at 1 - 2 and struggle with anything longer. My hair is thinning (dramatically - lol) so I never envisaged anything less than safety scissors struggling with what's left up there... nevertheless it did. If you really want to go down the route of home haircuts... great. Invest elsewhere in a decent set of clippers. You won't regret the decision. Why did I give it 2 stars instead of one?
