Coiled snake slim enough to pass through most sink and bath plugholes. The diameter is so small, however, that I doubt the expanded coil at the end would actually drill into the blockage, and the handle for rotating the coil is only really effective if most of the snake has been fed into the pipework (unlikely with a length of 2.8m). As a bendy bit of metal, however, it does the job of getting through a U-bend to poke at any obstruction, through getting it past any right-angle bends is tricky.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Bought this to clear blocked kitchen drain. My pipes are S bend so product not very suitable. Description did make that clear. Handle is good but brush end going down pipe is not very big or strong. Upon removal blocked material splashed everywhere when brush was used and taken out. Need to buy different product with better brush as this one is already fraying. good little gadget

This is a replacement bought for a pound in Poundland, which lasted about 15 months before the nylon brush began to fragment. It is however very useful and I wouldn’t be without one.
