Love this chair!
I sit for around 6 hours each weekday at work. I bought this after developing hip pain from my old desk chair. It looks and works like a brand new chair & it is wonderful! My hip pain has decreased significantly after a few months of use. It's not bulky and the mesh keeps me cooler than my old chair. Frankenstein chair
I've sat in a Leap for many years at my office, and I can say this chair is a Frankenstein. Many parts were not OEM Steelcase and low quality. The pneumatic, arm pads, seat fabric/padding, base and casters were non-Steelcase low quality. The Steelcase mechanism and chair frame had significant wear and damage. For example, the height adjustment lever was repaired using tape, back slope adjuster was jammed and sticky, and the cap on the dial for the seat tension was broken off. The seller tried to blame everything on the shipper, but I was not convinced. Once I save enough cash, I'll be buying a real Steelcase chair - this one simply does not cut it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Great value. Great build quality. Refurbished like brand new.
These are clearly refurbished but they still come with the ten year warranty -- a testament to the build quality you can be confident in. I doubt I'll need to utilize that warranty because it is re-built like new anyway. Mine came with the lumbar support, size B (dark green). The item description doesn't call these chairs 'new' but I couldn't find one blemish or mechanical issue with this chair. It's reputation as an excellent ergonomic chair are well earned. This chair is comfortable, adjustable, and fully loaded. And, nearly a third of the price of a 'new' Aeron chair. You won’t find better for the proce
Very good deal on what is imo the finest office chair available in the world. Assembly was easy (about 5mins). All that is required is putting the piston into the base and then putting the chair on the piston. The only slightly tricky thing is if your chair has a lever for height adjustment make sure the actuator that depresses the adjuster on the piston are both on the same half (easy to see what I mean when looking at the parts). Looks used, not new with open box
The chair is very comfortable and great, however the listing shows New Open Box, but this looks very clearly used. It’s not dirty, but the at the top of the backrest on both corners there shows clear signs of wear, like if someone sat in it every day for awhile and their shoulda rubbed against the top of the chair causing the mesh to fray slightly.
