  • Great tremolo!!!

This Gold Tremolo bridge won't fit in a STRAT Affinity without some adjustments to mount it, it's a great tremolo for any other series upgrade. I am currently using it with an affinity series. As i motioned before the mounting screws for the affinity are placed a little different and you will need to make adjustments for a great fit. I upgraded my STRAT because the great sentimental value I have for her and this tremolo its just awesome.

  • If you can change out the saddles, this is a great bridge for the price.

This is a good bridge for the price. It has a nice, heavy block, and a good strong and heavy duty plate. I gave it 4 stars, because the saddles are very thin and cheap...the springs are too short to adjust the intonation, the height adjustment pins use an odd size allen wrench that I don't have (I have a multitude of them, and a drawer full of strat tremolo bridges, and have never seen a set of pins that I don't have a wrench for), and so the saddles are basically useless. Fortunately, I was able to use the better quality saddles from the $6 bridge I had on the guitar from a couple of years ago, for which this was an upgrade. So, with a different set of saddles, it is a great bridge.

  • 4 and 5 stars

awsome. came mint, no scratches, authentic. its for a 2015 squire affinity. all the screwholes didnt line up so im filling all the holes on my guitar and drilling new pilot holes for the screws. other than that my only nitpick is the backplate wont fit back on because the block is a hair to big, but I dont really mind, itll make it easier if i need to access the back live or in the studio! peace yall!

  • Gold now but not for long

I haven’t mounted the trem yet but I’m sure it will work like the rest of them do. The overall quality and materials look to be on par with fender quality, the gold plating will be like the rest and disappear after a couple years, wish they could figure out how to make it last, I would never have chosen gold but this build requires it as it never came any other way so here we go.

  • Nice Strat trem for the price

Drop in replacement on a partscaster I've been playing for 30 years. Works fine, and the finish seems durable enough. Only negative is that the height adjustment screws in the saddles use a very tiny sized allen key (smaller than the ones in my US made American Standard Strat). But for such a low price, that's a pretty trivial complaint.

  • It is a bridge

Nothing exciting about it other than it is better than not having a bridge! It is made out of some sort of metalic substance and I give it a set of strings and it works. I could spend 4 times as much and end up with some sort of metalic substance and then make a bunch of statements about how good that bridge is but hey.. If I did not have it then I would have to do something else and that would mean that I would have to create METAL and then slant my eyebrows real serious and stare at you with serious eyebrows like some serious eyebrowing at least!! Man that would be really weird.

  • cheap, lightweight, trem arm threads are cut wrong

cheap product, the threads cut for the tremolo arm socket are somehow already stripped when the product is brand new?

  • Nice product!

I researched quite a few of these and this one worked out excellent. It does have a heavier block, it adjusts well, and looks great on my 50th anniversary Mex Strat!
