    As good as new

    Swallow your pride, buy refurbished and get three times the bang for your buck. Nextbase cameras have reliable electronics but inadequate and unreliable internal batteries. Once fixed they are likely to go on for ages.

    Chunky mirror, not for me

    I was a Nextbase fan having bought 3 now and using them in cars, Vans and Trucks but this venture into the Nextbase mirror was not for me. It is large, Very large. The reflective surface is not as good as a standard rear view mirror. The massive display is very distracting. It needs one main button to be simply 'Display On - Off' The recorded image is very good and the oversized camera does push the lens nearer to the screen, so reduces reflections of the dash and air vets etc. The Wi-Fi part is very limited as well. Also there are just way too many indicators all around the video screen that all adds up to a cluttered display. The next generation mirror, should have display on and off and the facility to plug in a rear camera.

    A good durable reliable product.

    Good camera and quality product, with no issues at the moment. the unit has been perfectly reliable and is easily hardwired with the additional kit purchased separately. Camera footage is easily accessed with the IOS or Android app. Just be aware however, if you have vehicle light detectors and rain sensors fitted to the windscreen behind the existing mirror, the projecting cover can obscure an area of your recordings.

    Very good dash cam

    Very pleased with the nexbase mirror dash cam, easy to fit and works well, originally bought a 32gb card, now upgraded to 64gb. It did interfere with my in car DAB radio a little so bought some filers which for around the 12v supply now all good, I would recommend.

    Nextbase 512GW dashcam

    Great camera with lots of features, the only downside I’ve had would be that the suction pad fails after a while so you come out to your car in the morning and the camera is dangling from the lead and needs reattaching to the windscreen.
