Great product easy install.
Great product. It only runs when the heater runs and it does require a drain for the water. There isn't any wiring direct to the furnace, but it does require cutting in the ducting. Overall, it was about 2 hours to install. The humidistat isn't accurate compared to what my humidity is in the house. So, you will have to adjust the humidistat until you get the humidity desired. It has a plug in cord. So, I did have to install an outlet near my furnace. Overall, it is great for a whole house humidifier. When installed properly it works great.
My AC man installed the first one improperly and it fell off the duct and the housing broke. I ordered a new one and installed it myself according to the owner's manual after resizing the hole in the duct the AC guy cut too large. Water valve interface connector.
Six pin Interface connector for water valve is skimpy design and failed on old unit that was in service for ten years. Replaced with 4 pin car to trailer light connector and everything working fine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
