    Simply unreliable!

    This product sold by powersubmarine did not work on my Dell XPS laptop. Although it fits into the space previously occupied by my CD-Rom Drive the Win 10 Dell laptop would either not recognise the drive, or fail to recognise the contents of the drive. It was unreliable and therefore unusable. I cannot recommend this pice of equipment to anyone.

    Useful Addition, One Reservation

    This works OK and the price is good BUT the front bezel requires either surgery to fit or, as I am fortunate to have to hand, a bezel that does fit. I suppose it could function without one but have a sharp knife and small file to hand. Only some optical drives from specific makers will fit. The older IBM thinkpads could supply bezels to suit. A small screwdriver is supplied, the HDD must be secured with the fitted screws provided.
