Works great! Rear-view mirror on a bike is now a habit for me.
This mirror was not available at my bike shop so they got me a "Third Eye Pro". Adhesive melted during the day in the garage. Both pads gone in ~3 months. Mixed Feelings
I purchased this with the intentions of attaching it to an ATV helmet, even though it's designed around a bicycle helmet. I liked how rigid the flexible portion was. it stayed where you adjusted it. I like that it's removable for helmet storage. It even comes with extra adhesive. The fifth bullet point on the package I highly disagree with; - High quality mirror. It scratches very easily, clean carefully. I would recommend warm soapy water and air dry as a soft cotton cloth will scratch it. The focal distance was a little too short for me. It was not quite natural to change focus from looking ahead to what was behind in the mirror. However, I also felt that any further away and the mirror would be too small to get usable information from unless you were looking digitally("Hey there's a headlight behind me or Hey there's NO headlight behind me") Their 100% satisfaction guarantee offers only replacement and not a refund/credit. :-(Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

"Important safety factor"
I've been using the CycleAware helmet mirror for about 6 years and I'd feel "naked" without it. It's such an important safety factor as it allows me to see traffic approaching without having to constantly turn my head/body. Due to wind noise when riding, it is often impossible to hear traffic approach from the rear so being able to see it at a glance is important. Compared to other mirrors such as those which attach to the end of the handlebar or those which fit on sunglasses, the CycleAware helmet mirror is far superior. The unit's only weakness is the adhesive attaching it to your helmet---due to heat, perspiration, etc it may fail after a time. However, the adhesive is easily replaced by the double stick tape used to attach windshield mirrors which you can buy in a roll at your local hardware store. Quality safety product.
I do a lot of crazy things including riding on rural two lane roads. I have never found a perfect road bike mirror but this one is light, durable, attaches to the helmet if you ride multiple bikes. A lot of adjusting.
I got this to replace my mirror that attached to my sun glasses. The glasses have a round arm that did not work well with the glasses arm-mounted mirror. This one mounts on the helmet which shifts around more than you might think. As a result, I am constantly adjusting it. Definitely a smaller field-of-view than the glasses-mounted. Sturdy and flexible mirror
The CycleAware Reflex mirror adheres firmly to the outside of your helmet (as long as you can find enough of a flat surface area). It offers a lot of flexibility (literally) because of the various moveable parts. The manager of my local bike shop introduced me to this mirror.
