Not as good as it could be!
This is a very good joystick performance-wise, especially if you are left-handed. All the buttons and swiches have a good feel and the stick itself has outstanding senstivity. I bought the new T16000M FCS version of this Thrustmaster joystick in the hope that it would address some of the design defects of the original model, but it has only been partially successful in that regard. It adds some braille type buttons and depressions to the base buttons so that you can distinguish between them by touch, which is good. It also added some grooved texture to the throttle slider, the hat switch, and thumb buttons, but this texture doesn't really help to improve the grip as they are made of hard slippery plastic rather having a rubber coated surface. The main problem with this joystick is the extreme spring tension which makes it hard to keep the stick steady and after a while, I feel like I've been doing some sort of physical therapy. I have't used it enough to know if it will eventually loosen up, but my older version of this joystick feels the same as this new one. As a lefty I suppose this is the best choice of currently available ambidexterous joysticks, but right-handed players can probably do better.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Worst joysticks i have ever owned
I bought 2 of these for a dual stick set up and both were defective. One was poorly calibrated. When you let go of the stick it would just keep turning. The other the light on the base will not shut off unless you unplug it. The springs on them also wear out very quickly. Mid/High-End Quality for Low-End Price
I use two T16000M joysticks for Star Citizen, a space flight simulation game, and I can't be happier with my purchase. I won't claim that these joysticks are High-End - they're fairly simplistic, and don't have a lot of buttons or bells and whistles. That being said, the control is *phenomenal*, and the construction is excellent. They feel very sturdy. An Additional bonus is that the grips and handrest can be flipped to allow for left-handed use, which is great for lefties or those with a dual-stick setup like myself. Great Stuff
Works. The stick's accurate, throttle buttons all useful and plentiful. One small complaint is that some of the buttons on the base of the flight stick don't reset too quickly and are kind of sticky. Not sure if that was just mine or affects all units. would recommend for elite dangerous.

The sensor is very accurate. The build seems decent, could be better (trigger feels a little flimsy, hand rest rotates a bit even when screw is tightened all the way), but five stars because this is definitely the best stick in it's price range.
