Tho it might not be lightweight in the mass number the ease of usage makes it that you lift less and work less.
Gets the job done the first sweep of the iron. Power steams right through the most stubborn wrinkles. The I Touch system is Fab. Takes a bit to get used to but not much when your arthritic arm and shoulders figure out how much less work they have to put out. Not having to replace my iron in the ironing board holder every time I need to shift fabric is so much easier on me and so much quicker. Merely place the iron in a spot out of the work area you are using on the ironing board n let go. The legs of the iron lift the iron off the board and await its next move. Extra long 12 foot cord is great more room to work and not fight. Also auto shut off. I fought myself with the price of this iron before ordering. After reading other reviews I was sold. My Hubby who was very skeptical ( he's a dear and lets me order any way) tried my Oliso Iron out and actually said he wishes he had one when he was in the Navy!!
