Resistance Bands - Extreme Fitness
I bought these as an alternative to using weights at home. I have a set of weights which I haven't used in a while, as they're quite cumbersome and take up quite a bit of space. Besides, keeping fit takes time and commitment if joined to a gym, not forgetting the monthly cost involved too. I was quite impressed by the different exercises possible to work the whole body, without changing weights which I find a little time consuming and awkward. The great thing about these bands, is that you can do many different exercises which are not possible with weights. You also have the convenience of taking them to the office, friend's house or when travelling abroad - should you want to exercise while away. The enclosed exercise sheet is quite limited, but lots of examples can be found if you type resistance band exercises in google. On the whole, I would recommend this product, the bands are pretty strong and sturdy and keeps me in shape. I made a wall anchor from a long beam of wood belonging to an old wooden bed somebody threw away. The beam is about 76 inches long, by 1 inch thick and 3 inches wide, which I drilled into my wall and attached some 45mm screw eye hooks at various points to attach the bands for different exercises. The wall anchor is great for doing chest presses, shoulder press, lat pull downs and many other types of exercises. Irresistible!
I've got a dodgy knee at the moment, so gyms and walks are out of the question. These bands offered a perfect way of exercising without doing damage. They're tough and durable and the different strengths mean you can start with an easy exercise regime and build up as you get better at the exercises. Great for men and women. Having bought a set of bands for myself, I had to order more for other members of the family. They would also make great gifts. Always beem sceptical of these bands but have been converted with these. A good product for traveling or a basic home gym. Good level of resistance and the ability to use different bands at the same time to create higher or lower resistance is excellent. The door anchor works well and is perfect for tricep pull downs etc. Everything is on sturdy climbing style clips making switching around easy. elastic tension training set
Well made set...that have a reasonable combined weight for most, easily adjusted to suit for person or exercise, take up no room.
