Wonderful woody Oud it is Unisex a I wear it. great Product!
This EDP is amazing - so many different Notes. The beautiful Oud coupled with the woody fragrance is beautiful. I like the slight tobacco and incense meld. There are so many lovely notes going on here. a little rose. The leather works really well with the tobacco and I get a hit of cardamom as well. All in all very well done. 100ml at a low price for a quality EDP the value is amazing. A++++

Varvatos house
Firstly, let me say that I am a huge fan of this line. However, with this scent, there is no noticeable Oud at all. It smells very similar to his Dark Rebek, which also smells very similar to the Dark Rebel Rider. As a fan of the Varvatos line, I am not saying I dislike this. Not for everyone but a great fragrance
This is one of my favorite fragrances. However it should be worn at particular times and places. This is a mature fragrance .I would not recommend it for people in there twenties. I would not recommend it for clubbing. I would recommend it for Suit and Tie dating and dining. This is definitely a winter and fall fragrance I would not recommend it for summer time. The fragrance has a strong incense scent witches very calming. This fragrance is more on the heavier side because of the Oud and incense. Awesome, awesome smelling fragrance for men. However, i'm very disappointed on the longevity and performance on this fragrance. The projection on it is not all that good; you have to be in an area where people are within arms length to get great reaction- and you will get GREAT reaction. Solution: you have to get a decant of this fragrance because it'll only last 4hours maximum. On a scale of 1 to 10. An Oil Fit For A King
My John Varvatos OUD is the real thing. , It comes in a very nice boxed display. The women love the scent. The OUD is made from the Argala tree which when the bark is covered in a fungus mold it is fermented and the OUD oil is made from this.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great scent!
I had been looking forever for a good replacement for my dwindling bottle of now-discontinued Gucci pour homme original (the one concocted by Tom Ford when he was there). This is easily the closest I've found. If you like flowery, sweet scents, this isn't for you. Think more along the lines of walking through a Moroccan spice market at dusk - strong scents of incense, spice and cinnamon. I compared it to my Gucci scent (not pour homme II, mind you, the original pour homme) and they are very similar. Until Gucci decides to bring that back, this is going to be my go-to cologne.
