It has buttons big enough to read and press without also inadvertently pressing the surrounding buttons. It is the right size in terms of handling. Anything smaller - you would need to hold it one hand whilst presssing your choice with the other hand. This is usually the case with smaller remotes. I consider it to be robust and well made.
