Good socks

A waste of money
On the plus side, these socks are warm yet thin enough to be able to be worn with shoes. On the negative side, they are overly generous on the sizing. They are way bigger than a size 6...more like a size 9 so on my size 6 feet they were very baggy. The most disappointing part is that they are incredibly itchy. They actually made the skin on my feet a little sore after a few hours wear. I washed a few pairs and used a good quality fabric conditioner in the hope it would make them softer, but no difference. They are simply unpleasant to wear and after 30 mins I felt like insects had bitten my feet raw. My partner and son also tried them and had the same experience. Painful
They looked long enough so not sure if it was in the construction but the socks just didn't fit and they left a tight band around my foot, at the front, by the end of the day. I quickly had to jump onto Amazon and buy some new socks as for these are just not wearable. Other people may be fine with them but they just didn't work for me. I struggled to get them on in the first place and I this is not something I have had before. As soon as I put them on they felt tight across the front of my foot but I had no other socks to wear so I had to wear them and hence the pain by the end of day. They're a bargain
The fit is a little too loose on my size 11 feet for me to give it 5 stars. Also they do tend to leave a lot of excess fluff on the carpets when they're new and worn for the first time, but it's nothing too major. Quality is good enough considering what they cost.
