While the picture is great this transformer is more than meets the eye. The toys is oversized from the original issue of the toy.
1. In Robot mode, it will not stand. The feet are so loose that they fold under the weight of the robot.
2. It comes with the laser weapon shown, but it does not fit. The peg is too fat to fit into the hole in his hand, and even if it did fit the peg is not long enough to place it as shown in the picture. His arm plate is too thick and the peg is too short.
3. Cassette player mode does not fully transform. The legs are supposed to fold up and snap into place, but the width of the rectangle that protrudes from his chest to allow it to click together is too wide to fit into the leg slot on the left side. The right one fits fine.
4. Ravage cassette is too big to be used interchangeably with original G1 series. There are no joints in Ravage's feet. So it makes it hard stand.
5. Lazerbeak cassette is too big to be used interchangeably with original G1 series. When you transform Lazerbeak from a bird to a cassette the head does not slide in all the way and therefore will not fit into this Soundwave Action figure at all. The Cassette mode also has orange coloring instead of red.
6. The cassette deck can only fit one cassette at a time. There is no room for 2 as in the G1 re-issue series.
The shoulder cannon works perfectly. The joint in this Soundwave action figure are loose and easy to manipulate.
