A.D. Kingdom and Empire DVD BOX set MGM
WE really enjoyed this four disc box set of 12 episodes. We did have to close our eyes a few times but that is because we don't watch a lot of violent tv stuff. But of course this was a violent time in history as is still today. We hope they will finish off the whole story in a part two box set, but this first part is well worth the viewing time. It's from the same producers of 'The Bible' dvd, also an excellent four disc box set. It's even better if or when you know who God really is and He loves you. Ansoulutelty loved it. One of the best Re-enactments I've seen. The writers have kept very close to Most Bible translations. Brilliant engaging characters who really give you an idea of what the Romans were like and the way they treated the early Christians. Very good use of special effects and realistic sets.
