Good solid disk lock
I bought this after reading reviews on various disklocks - I needed something that would fit under the seat of my MT07 but which was also a decent deterrent. The Abus feels solidly made, and is very easy to use. Hopefully the alarm will deter any thieves from trying to remove it.

Gives peace of mind but is not user friendly.
Upside: Good, robust disc lock. Typical German engineering; solid and practical. Downside: It takes finesse and a quick hand to prevent the screeching alarm going off in your ears. I would not go for this type of disc lock again. The one I would go for would be an Abus disc lock without the alarm.

Best disc lock I've come across.
Bought two of these, one for each bike. I have seen photos of one of these cut inti by bike thieves in three positions with grinder, still not got it off and it still opend. The sounder is loud enough to cause attraction and is quite sensitive. Well worth buying one.
