WD 40 in cans is a pricey way to buy. If you use a lot, then invest in this bulk deal. I have always been a fan, having fixed one of their 400E vans 50 years ago and getting a free can of "Rocket WD 40". It does what it says on the tin. Spraying garden machinery before winter keeps them sweet, it is great for cleaning and protecting fibreglass and preventing gel-coat cracks, and very good for Classic Car vinyl roofs.. I also spray car wheels to protect the alloys and make them easier to clean. Keeps water out of quad and bike electrics too. Excellent stuff.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Always used WD40 even as a young mechanic as much as I could while working for ford then redundant then Vauxhal redundantl . Then onto VW & Audi . Redundant again. A couple of back street garages . I use WD40 as a post ride/wash corrosion inhibitor and was getting through trade size cans too quickly. Trade quantity 5 litre carton with applicator spray is the answer. You can tune the spray nozzle from mist to violent squirt and simple squeeze the trigger. At least as forceful as a spray can if you need it. If you go full force it can deliver a large volume of WD40 which may mean that you get through it very quickly! But you can control this with the nozzle! Great value for money
I use this when i clean the house, as in polish floors, furniture, tiles, along with the more typical uses for WD40. I have read that this product is actually completely natural, made of fish oil. Which means it's not toxic. The applicator seems unidirectional only. I'd have preferred to be able to get a mist also. A better way to spray!
WD40 is possibly THE most versatile workshop fluid. Fed up of Aerosol cans one-third full but out of air pressure so the product gets wasted, I bought this 5Ltr container and use pump-action spray bottles to deliver it where needed.
