The Numark Mixtrack II Digital DJ Controller has a streamlined design and a layout of professional controls. This controller has the Virtual DJ LE software included, and is compatible with almost any popular DJ software. Its 16 backlit multifunction drum pads can be used to launch samples, create loops, and control hot cues. With capacitive and dual-zone platters, the user can scratch or stop a track by touching the platter's surface, while simultaneously adjusting the pitch.

Consider paying a little more for an upgrade.
The Virtual DJ software I received with the unit was very limiting so I am not really sure the full potential. The was no software from Numark itself so Virtual DJ is all I had to go with. The issue I had was trying to get a mic to work with this and I never could. I could find no real information on the web or from either the software or hardware vendor. The unit seems fragile and is all dependent on having a PC. If you are using this more to "get your feet wet with mixing" I would consider a tougher more stand alone unit. Good toy though.

NUMARK MIXTRACK 2 IS AWSOME
Ok so ive had this controller for a while now and i gotta say i really enjoy using it, it feels good and works good and it even looks good, specially when the lights are off. It is worth the money you pay for and i feel like its a good controller to have so give the NUMARK MIXTRACK 2 a solid try :)you wont regret it guys :D
