Great challenge.
At the age of 86, this was certainly a challenge. It is vital that you spend some time identifying the pieces and deciding where to start. The main problem with this kit was forming the curve of the sidewalls of the hull from the flat sheet and I used the outlet hole of my vegetable steamer to loosen the plywood and obtain some curvature with pressure over a big roll of kitchen tissue! I made the mistake of fitting the two pieces with windows facing outwards rather the inwards and did not position the rudder soon enough having had to use PVA to secure the bits. Some of the deck fittings are difficult to work out and fit correctly. I now have a completed rudderless hull awaiting to be fitted with sails. I think this will also need some planning. It has at least stirred the grey matter and I hope I will end up with something to be proud of.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
