Like slapping butter on bread. Smooth and feel great. Ideal for mid (9+) handicappers and above. EZ does mean easy to hit. Changed original shafts (senior golfer) from stiff irons to regular graphite UST Recoils to give them a punch. Low handicappers may prefer muscle back irons, but these irons are forged, and can easily be played by many. Being forged, easily adjusted to your loft and lie specifications. Many opinions out there, but you cannot go wrong with these irons.....period. Mizuno = quality. Possibly the most under-rated irons on the market.

  • top distance

great distance & feel with all irons. a good 5-6 easy yards further. i'm a 4-5 handicap. I normally use Mizuno blades except for 2-4 irons. I bought these for my 10 year old, but i played a few rounds with them before shortening the shafts to see how they hit for myself and they are really surprisingly long and easy to hit. looks good to the eye. sounds good, feels good, plays good. i recommend them to anybody. i'll need these as i get older!!!

  • Mizuno JPX-EZ Forged Irons 4-GW 2016

Amazing set of irons. I've been playing a Bridgestone forged set for several years, and even though I loved them, I needed a little more forgiveness. I don't get out as much as I use to. I bought these because they are forged as well and I wanted the soft feel. Not only did I get the soft feel, I gained about 10-15 yards per iron! If you're a consistent ball striker, but want just a little help, these will do wonders for you. Great looking and high in quality, which is what Mizuno is known for. Highly recommended!

  • Amazing Forged Stiff Irons

I was using TaylorMade r7 irons and I liked them but I lost an 8 iron so figured this was as good of a time as any to upgrade. I had never hit forged irons but heard they were the way to go if your swing speed and such could handle it. These are by far easily the best irons I've ever hit. I know I sound like a pitch man for Mizuno but I'm serious they are long straight forgiving and just perfect

  • My clubs for the next 10 years!

Love these JPX's! The sound is noticeably different but the feel is just right. Distance is roughly 10 yards longer than my previous clubs (taylormade RAC LT). I've noticed the degrees per club are roughly 3-degrees lower on every club compared to my old RAC... longer distances! I highly recommend for any golfer looking to move away from shot-enhancing cavity back irons. Gives you more feel but still easy to hit. Enjoy!

  • Replaces my EZ Comps T Zoids from twenty years ago!

I like the feel of these clubs and they are very forgiving and I like the Gunmetal Finish. I wanted a more compact, thinner top line looking club but couldn't give up the performance on the off center hits. I also wish they stopped a little quicker on the greens, they tent to roll out a little more than I had hoped. All in all very pleased, still getting used to them yardage wise but I have already shot two 78's in the last month and I'm a 14 handicap. Go Mizuno!!

  • 3rd time is the charm!

This is my 3rd set of Mizuno forged irons in the last 15 years and these are my favorite yet. Good feel, good distance, good lines for set up and the burnished look doesn't reflect glare into your eyes. Great choice for any player, but really good for mid to low handicappers wanting consistency and good distance. Like all Mizuno forged irons, they have that crisp but soft feel to them when you strike the ball in the sweet spot. My previous sets were the MX 20 and the JPX 825 Pro. Both held their value for resale (considering age and use) and I'm confident that these new JPX-EZ will as well. There might be other sets of irons out there with more "buzz" factor, looks or gimmicks, but it's hard to dispute the feel, value and results of Mizuno forged irons.

  • Great Set!

I was a little apprehensive about buying a forged set of irons because it seems they are less forgiving and reserved for better players. Also, since this is a slightly "older" set, the lofts are 1-2 degrees weaker than newer sets so I thought I might lose distance as well. I could not have been more wrong. Not only are these clubs as forgiving as any cast game improvement cavity back, they are longer as well. I'm not sure why I hit the 32 Degree 7 iron further than my previous 30 Degree 7 iron (same shaft & length) but I do. Maybe because forged clubs are built more solidly because of the forging process over casting? Regardless I could not be happier with these irons. Mizuno rocks!

  • New Mizuno Fan

I am not good..yet, so I still get frustrated with miss hits and these are not as forgiving as my other clubs. However when I do strike flush it is a beautiful result. Forged irons are the way to go and Mizuno does them well. My next set will be Mizuno's.

  • Butter

Forged irons are addicting. These clubs hit good and are easy to work. When hit flush it’s like butter.
