I'm on a charge, now!
I have a 1 hr, 4 x AA or AAA battery charger and until it broke recently, i had a larger multi battery charger, which was able to charge different battery sizes at the same time. The XTAR VC4 shows you how much charge is remaining in a battery and continues to show how much current it is putting in, at any one time. It only has 4 battery slots but you can charge different sizes at the same time. The top feature as i see, it's ability to resurrect a flat battery. Impressive. The old chargers i've had, only show a 'constant red' or 'flashing red' so i have no idea if a battery is dead kaput or could possibly be revived. This XTAR VC4 shows what you need to know. just the job
I have had my xtar vc4 for a while now and have found it to be an excellent charger I have charged 18650 r25s and Nimh 1,2 2500mah batteries in both combination and singular it even tells you what battery type you have just loaded, the charger runs very cool and so does the mains to usb output converter I chose a 2.1 amp 5 volt output apple adapter which gives out plenty for the charger all in all I highly reccomend buying one of these xtar's, I am a vapour enthusiast I use a lot of 18650 batteries every week it is the best balanced charger I have found for the money I spent............Just the job...Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great battery charger. The best one I've tried.
This is a great little battery charger. It can run off a USB socket, and is quite compact in size, yet still delivers a good amount of charge to 4x batteries at once. I use this primarily for Lithium Ion cells, but also for AA and AAA Ni-MH cells, instead of the basic chargers that I previously used. It can also charge older NiCd cells on the same function as NiMH, and also recovers cells that are quite worn down. Overall, a great charger, and out of all the chargers I've tried (including some Nitecore chargers), this one seems to be the best one. Really pleased i bought BUT RADIO SPECTRUM IS SEVERELY AFFECTED . nice charger with one hiccup
Does what it says on the box. Only one small problem it seems finicky about the USB supply. I have several main sockets with an integrated USB. rated at 2.1 amp when connected to some of these, the charger shows it is only charging at .2 Amp. Using a 2.1amp rated plug in type converter, in the same sockets the unit charges at .5 Amp. Looking at online revues it seems to be a known issue. Easy fix I just use a dedicated plug converter from an old phone, or let it take a bit longer to charge.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Quality charger 5*!
Bought this after moving from an old charger. Was looking for a quality charger which told you battery charge and which cut off when fully charges. Can't go wrong with this! Detailed display tells you how charged each battery is. Only negative so far I've found is that it only takes 2x D size batteries at a time and no 9V but these are minor problems! Seems to work very well, only had it a few days but has charged all batteries well.
Charged charges batteries well and reasonably quickly. Screen information is very good and easy to read. Seems to take enough charge from the usb socket, even when loaded with 4 batteries.
