Buy this for the right reasons
I purchased this item because it has a very particular look for a particular place in our home. It is installed in a main floor organic powder room that is kept de-cluttered and is for guest use. The non-traditional look and method of dispensing add to the aesthetic of the space and the experience of our guests. If this were not the case, it would simply be an overpriced soap dispenser that you have to hassle with a bit to get the viscosity of the soap just right. I would not use this in my everyday bathroom space, but in my quirky little powder room it delivers exactly what I paid for.
