If you like Giants you'll like Hollyhocks.
All the seeds struck and it was very rewarding to see the size they grew to; most were 6 feet high but one grew over 9 feet tall.. So a very good plant for back of the border, but they will need room. They flower a little like a foxglove, in that the flowers appear first low down, and as they age the buds above open all the way to the top. You won't get a plant in full flower, they appear sequentially and the varied colours make it an attractive highlight plant.
