Difficult to fit
Firstly, The fitting instructions need updating the pictures need to be improved (I have fitted 5 ceiling fans in the past) and have seen better. Very difficult to get the final cover on due to the cables becoming trapped, on first time of fitting a wire came adrift which meant the light did not work. My solution to the problem was to use small cable ties to secure the cables together you only need 3 or 4. (Could the manufacturer provide some with the product?). This makes the fitting of the cover much easier. On the plus side, the fan looks good, runs very quietly, good bright center light, and finally, very easy to use with the remote control. I am quite a fan
I am a skilled DIY fan and also electrics savvy. But this was a nightmare to assemble and to get running. My idea of hell is to be made to install these for all time. It took me and a friend to get installed with around another couple of hours pre-work to fit together. The earthing plan is vital but difficult to make all parts fit together. That said. Once fitted the device works well as a light and also as a fan. It is quiet in operation and in my case very stable not needing the balancing kit enclosed. I have this in the main bedroom and it has proved a boon. The fan speeds are relatively slow, so no real punch you would get from a pedestal fan, but over time in operation it gradually eats away at the excessive heat in the room reducing by degrees over quarters of an hour not more fast. I do not know if it was part of the design but the fan needs to be left on all the time so the remote can get it to function. This means that if you enter the room you need to find the remote to turn the light on. However I found leaving the switch on and the fan and light off, I could flick the light switch a few times and the light comes on from the main room switch. That is a nice plus. As mentioned earlier this is in the main bedroom and the ease of light or fan on or off from the bed makes it a luxury worth the money I paid. I gave recommendation value and quality positive marks but marked down the overall rating due to the fiddly and time-consuming assembly and fitting time. I may buy another for the living room but only when I have built up the will to tackle a punitive job.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fan is nicely built and looks good but quite tricky to fit due to transformer being hid in base of fan and requires a bit of patience to get all wires and transformer neatly tucked away. On a plus point the fan has plug connectors which makes it easier. Fan also took quite a while to balance but all balance weights and instructions are included. After fitting on the wall, the fan looks good. But the space in the top part is very less, makes it practically not possible to put all the wires inside.
