Great for the price....but not practical.
This item is ok for the price we paid, however I would pay more for a proper one though as this replica although looks good, it is not very practical. You cannot fit wine glasses in the provided slots whilst the northern hemisphere is in the closed position...a little tight on space.

I should have read the full description as I wanted a shorts globe but this is a wine globe. I sussed this as shorts glasses wouldn’t fit in the storage part with in the globe. Nevertheless it’s good quality and would recommend it as a ‘wine’ storage globe
