Wonderful product
I use this for cutting fabric, not anything else. It is FANTASTIC. My hand arthiritis prohibits me from using sissors for any length of time and this works perfectly. Very lightweight and cuts thru like butter on fabric. Bought this one for my sister, who suffers from same problem. My first one is still working and charging whenever I need it. A GREAT tool - much better than expected!
I have 3 of these scissors and love them. Use and keep one with my package wrapping materials so it's always ready, keep a 2nd one plugged in and ready to go at my garage workbench for odd jobs (every couple of months I use it for some project); and the 3rd one I got as a kit, and used the mounting stand in the kit to mount it and use it as a stationary cutter, so one can use both hands to steer and control the material better than free hand cutting.. Works great; no battery replacements, and one is over 5 years old and another is about that age. The other point I would make is how tough it is (never a problem cutting) and how it will cut material a lot thicker or tougher than I think possible - I have been really surprised at the ease of cutting materials I do not know if it will cut or not, and am just trying to see what happens. Beats buy new scissors
To my knowledge, Black & Decker don't sell a replacement battery for their electric scissors (or any of their other cordless products), which to me seems ludicrous. I did a search & was lucky enough to find this battery. You need to follow their instructions & note where everything goes, but it takes less than 5 minutes to be back up & running. Theses are so useful.
Bought Black & Deckers Cordless Scissors. If you need to be cutting in Crafts or around you home. Theses are a must have. I'm so glad that I found a few pair's. My old pair's I worn out after many year's of use. Best for Quality, Durability, Safety and Smooth Cutting love them. And they are comfortable lightweight, so easy to use.
