Easy pill for dats
Excellent product. My cat has been on steroids for 6 weeks. The first three days of trying to give the cat a pill were distressing for me and the cat. My vet gave me a sample of easypill to try and the cat eagerly accepted his medicine. I purchased a pack and the success has continued. I give two pieces, one to get him interested (easy!) and then one with the pill inside. Unfortunately after being on the steroids for so long he has come to expect his daily treat - don't know what he'll do when his course of steroids come to an end ! The tablets he is taking are fairly small so I am not sure if a larger tablet would be as acceptable It would probably mean having to give a larger size piece of putty and it is rather expensive. In future I intend to always use this product shoulld my cat require any medication. As mentioned previously, the only drawback is the price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

No joy for our cat.
it worked (tricked the cat) once.After that he would hot go near the putty, we tried sticking Dreamies to it to try and get him used to the stuff but he would not go near it...It may be a good idea but our cat would not take his tablet with it....Had to go to the old way and wrestle him. The "Easypill Cat Putty 4 x 10g Individually Wrapped Bars" have made a huge difference to being able to give our cat tablets. Things had become pretty much impossible, but the Easypill Cat Putty has made the impossible easy. It may not be the solution for every cat, but I would urge you to give it a try. Stress free pill giving experience.
This has made my life so much easier and stress free for both me and my cat. When giving daily pills to one of my cats it was becoming a nightmare trying to catch him and pin him down as he hated the pills. However someone recommended easy pill and oh my gosh it has been life changing for both of us. He is not wary of me anymore and I do not get stressed. You just break a piece off and roll it up in your fingers and pop the pill inside and squeeze it to seal it up. I give it with other biscuit treats and hey presto all done. A game changer
My cat (13yrs) historically has never ever been easy to administer medication. After a recent bad bout of cystitis I’ve had to give her tablets daily. Helps My Cat To Take Her Tablets
This product is very good and has been very helpful to me. I have a cat who needs to take 2 tablets a day and this product has made it much easier to give her medication. Before I discovered Easy Pill Cat Putty I used to use a small ball of pate but this did not always work and the tablet would drop out so sometimes it would take 2-3 goes to get my cat to take her tablet. Great way of getting your cat to take medication!
Really great way of tricking your cat to eating medication that it would normally spit out! I split the tablet my cat needed to take into 3. I gave him a couple of empty pieces of putty to see if he liked it and left the 3 bits of tablet coated in putty on the kitchen work surface to give him later. When I saw the size of the individual packaging I thought it would never be enough to give my cat Frodo 7 days tablets. HOW WRONG I WAS!!!! There's plenty in 2-3 of the 4 Patties for 7 days.
